Architect William Butterfield’s most ambitious building in Wales, an unspoilt textbook example of high Victorian church architecture and a hymn to polychromatic brickwork.
It contains a wealth of quality furnishings and stained glass. The William Hill organ has been described as ‘one of the finest parish church organs in the UK’.
The extensive churchyard has a number of interesting graves
including that of composer Joseph Parry – as well as a spectacular view over Cardiff Bay.
