About
A medieval church on an important historic site restored by Charles Buckridge in 1867-8. Its large churchyard backs onto the site of Gaer Fawr, a Roman fort.
St Catwg c 500-570 was an Early Christian saint and is believed to have occupied the nearby Capel Gwladys (Gwladys was traditionally his mother) and a 10th-century stone from here is housed in the church.

Also in the church are the old village stocks. Some fine stained glass by Clayton and Bell, R J Newberry and Frank Roper.
