About
A little altered church built 1882-4 by John Prichard, the diocesan architect of the period. Most of the original fittings and furnishings are in place.
The view over Cardiff from the tower is worth the climb to the top! Nearby in St Mary’s Gardens you can see the footings of the original medieval church demolished in 1904.

St Mary’s is a fine building with a wonderful balance of scale and intimacy and provides an excellent concert venue with a fine pipe organ, as well as being a popular venue for weddings.
