Built 1836 to the design of John Jenkins architect. The church was needed to serve the rapidly growing ironworks town of Tredegar.
It was designed in the Neo-Norman style which was briefly popular for church architecture in the 1830/40s.
Unusually it retains the original gallery supported on iron columns.
A number of interior memorials commemorate important figures associated with the Tredegar Ironworks.
The large churchyard contains graves of historical interest.
Wheelchair accessible. Ramp and handrails.
Parking is on the road, and disabled parking is in front of the church.
The regular bus route to Tredegar puts you within 5 mins walk to the church.
The Nearest train station is Rhymney, with semi-regular bus routes to Tredegar.
